I translate German folk tales into English, and publish folk tale collections focused on a particular theme (see www.sunkencastles.com). The theme for the planned third volume in my series will be "Magic in German folk tales". And I am looking for scholarly resources that will help me improve the manuscript. This list includes the books I have found so far.
I am open to further suggestions, but please note that I am only interested in books that have good scholarship and provide proper footnotes and sources.
