Star Wars. Darth Vader, dark lord of the Sith, Volume 2: Legacy's End

Legacy's end

This book might be part of the Star Wars series.

Vader's story continues! Jocasta Nu, the Jedi Temple librarian, puts forth a desperate effort to gather and preserve whatever he can of the Jedi legacy after the purge. Vader and the Grand Inquisitor cannot let Jocasta succeed and are sent after her, as Palpatine views her as a particular threat. Her knowledge makes her almost a one-woman Jedi Order that must be stopped.

Reviews

More varied and entertaining than vol. 1

As the world of this comic series growth, writer Charles Soule manages to make the characters and their relationships more interesting. While Vader appeared as a raging, mindless monster in the first volume, he develops some control and a mind of his own, within the limits of the golden cage he decided to put himself in. Some characters stay relatively one-sided, and the frequent "hnh" speech bubble is probably best commented on with yet another "hnh". But overall, vol. 2 is a considerable improvement.
