This volume was a bit confusing. May be that some confusion and... don't know, Heisenberg-like reality only you don't know if you're inside the box or the observer, whatever, is hard to avoid when mages are defeated. Or wizards attacked? Or duchesses made? Duchessdom earned? But even though I may have lost track of reality, or realities, or different threads some times, I'm already looking forward to what will happen next. And who will turn out to be more likeable than expected, and who will be more antagonistic that what I like. And, of course, against whom. And of course I need to know about Mr. Keightlinger.
