I've already read this book in English, so reading it in Italian is good practice. Progress is slow, since I am still at early A2 levels. Still, I persevere.

Yes, but #Brancalonia limits character growth to level 6, in order to maintain the "low-rent knaves" feeling of the setting.
It's pretty similar to early to middle #WFRP in feeling, except more humorous and with an Italian instead of Holy Roman cultural context.
@juergen_hubert @chris@mastodon.chrispelli.fun to be honest, the campaigns I played in saw only few levels up, so that doesn't bother me. And I have spent my moolah on Shadowdark and The Laundry Files RPG, so I will probably get this as well. In Italian. With the English as pdf for controlling my understanding.
